Bakewell Veterinary Clinic has stood for generations at the heart of the local community, providing local, professional veterinary services to the Peak District and beyond. We are proud to be the only independent practices in the area. We provide a team of vets with specialised interests offering a breadth of expertise and knowledge to ensure the best level of care for your animals, however great or small.

Our purpose-built small animal clinic has a wide range of equipment, friendly and compassionate staff, parking and is open until 7pm.

Our progressive farm animal services office with our team of experienced farm animal vets is located alongside our small animal practice in Bakewell.

Our equine clinic is based just up the road from the main practice, where our team of experienced equine vets provide an ambulatory service as well as having the use of the clinic if required.

Out of Hours Emergencies

Our out of hours emergency service is provided by our own vets for small animal, farm and equine. In case of emergencies out of opening hours please contact the relevant office on the usual telephone number and you will be transferred to an out of hours answering service. The duty vet will then contact you and arrange to meet from there.
